MEET THE OWNERS

Rob first landed in Sun Peaks in 2009 and returned every winter through 2013, starting in the retail shop before moving into ski instructing. Those seasons cemented a love for the mountain lifestyle, and ever since, coming back to Sun Peaks has been the dream. Off the mountain, Rob built a career in analyst roles focused on improving systems and streamlining processes – the kind of behind-the-scenes work that makes everything run smoother.

Sasha brings the same service-first mindset, with several winter seasons from 2007 to 2013 working in mountain towns including Banff Sunshine Village and Perisher (Australia). She’s also a qualified Dispensing Optician in New Zealand, bringing high standards, great people skills, and a warm, welcoming touch – and she genuinely loves helping people feel looked after.

In July 2024, we moved from New Zealand to Sun Peaks with our family of three, ready to put down roots for good. We’re super stoked to be launching Black Tie Sun Peaks and can’t wait to help make your vacation epic. See you on the snow (or in your living room!).
