Blackcomb is part of the massive ski resort that stretches over two mountains. On average, the area receives almost 40 feet of snow per year so the ski season tends to stretch out longer here than in most North American resorts.
The skiable terrain of Blackcomb covers more than 8,100 acres with 200-plus marked runs-just over half are ranked as intermediate. Verticals on both mountains are more than 5,000 feet and both offer runs as long as seven miles. Both mountains have terrain parks, while Blackcomb is the site of the superpipe.
