MEET THE OWNER

Originally from upstate New York, I grew up exploring the ski resorts of the southern tier known for long, cold and icy winters. Joining the high school ski club my freshman year, Friday nights were never the same again!

My passion for the mountain experience only grew as I embraced rock climbing, mountaineering and mountain biking as more than just casual pursuits traveling throughout the American West and Europe in search of new adventures. I first visited Lake Tahoe nearly 20 years ago and instantly fell in love with the beauty and culture that uniquely defines the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

Recently moving back to the area from Washington State, I found the opportunity to truly be a part of the Tahoe community, joining the Black Tie team as the local owner of the South Lake operations.

I immediately recognized the value of the Black Tie brand and what it represents – exemplary service and selection. I am so very happy to be a part of this expert team of professionals. Our location offers a wide selection of premium ski and snowboard equipment including leading brands such as Rossingol, Dynastar, K2, Salomon, Volkl, Nordica, Atomic and Burton. We have something for everyone!

Our team features a dedicated group of ski technicians/concierges who are all passionate winter sports enthusiasts. We promise to do everything we can to make your ski vacation a memorable one-of-a-kind experience.
