MEET THE OWNER

Born and raised in Spokane, Washington, it was here at Schweitzer that I fell in love with skiing as a child. This love for the mountains took me to Montana for school, and then spent a few years chasing winters in the Sierra Nevadas. I returned to the Idaho Panhandle, where I have spent the majority of the last decade as the executive chef at a neighboring lake resort. During this time, I have witnessed first hand Schweitzer’s never ending expansion into the beautiful destination resort that we have today.

After an introduction to the CEO and a couple of fellow Black Tie owners, I quickly realized this was a dream opportunity for me and dove in head first. Newly married, my wife and I have made Sandpoint our home and are looking forward to this next chapter in life. It is an honor to be a part of the Black Tie family, and I am excited to bring this incredible concept and service to Schweitzer Mountain and the city of Sandpoint. We look forward to providing the best rental experience there is to offer and we know once you experience our area, you’ll be looking for property on the flight home.
