MEET THE OWNER

I spent my first summer after graduating from the University of Virginia working in the Tetons and knew then that I’d one day make Jackson my permanent home. After living and working as a teacher in the Washington DC area, South America and Chicago, I finally made that dream a reality in 2008. Since then, I have dedicated myself to the children and families of Teton County as an elementary school principal and truly believe that aside from the stunning mountains, endless outdoor recreation, and some of the best powder skiing in the world, the locals are what make Jackson Hole such an incredible place to live and visit.

My wife, Jessica, is originally from upstate New York and discovered Jackson on a road trip after college. Her “one winter” in the Tetons has become over fifteen years of living locally, building a business as an occupational therapist and now mother of three wild boys who love the snow just as much as we do.

As owners and operators of Black Tie Ski Rentals of Jackson Hole, we hope to share our passion for this valley with you, ensure the finest customer service, and make your ski and snowboard rental experience as easy and enjoyable as possible during your stay.
