Wild Weekend in the Butte!

Crested Butte is known for throwing great parties. This weekend is going to be no different. If you find yourself on the mountain tonight, Crested Butte Ski Patrol is throwing the Attitude Adjustment Party starting at 7PM at Butte 66. The entry fee is a $10 donation to people in need in the Gunnison Valley. Bonus! It also gets you one drink and a raffle ticket! Johnny Kongo will be jamming out all night. If you find yourself in town this afternoon and you are looking to do something a little different, the 29th Annual Alley Loop is kicking off with the Fat Bike Races at 3PM and the Pub Ski (now walk) at 7PM. Both can be done solo, in pairs, or with a group!  Rise and shine early Saturday morning for the 29th Alley Loop Race! Races begin at 9:30 AM and run into the afternoon. Elevation Brewery will have a beer garden set up at the Nordic Center and awards will be handed out at Bonez at 4PM. If you are not interested in skiing in the event, they still need volunteers! If you don’t think that any of this sounds like it is for you, there will be live music playing all over town Saturday night. You can choose from The Eldo or Butte 66 to start your night off, then head over to Montanya’s for a cocktail and some tunes, and if you feel like making a night of it you can make your way to the Talk of the Town for a late night dance party! Have fun out there and be safe this weekend!
