Weekend of Awareness, Altruism & AWESOME skiing!

There is a lot going on in CB right now that we are super stoked about! As you gear up for another weekend of shredding the mountain, be sure to check out all that Crested Butte has to offer over the next few days.

Friday, December 4th, is the 13th Annual CB Avalanche Awareness Night at Mountaineer Square. This event is a fundraiser for the CB Avalanche Center and is a great way to brush up on your knowledge and awareness of avalanche safety. Plus, for a $5 cover charge, there will be pizza, beer, videos and a raffle!

CBMR is also hosting a Food Pantry Donation Day on December 6th starting at 8:00 a.m. Come together and support both Crested Butte and Gunnison County’s food banks. If you donate 3 non-perishable, non-expired food items you will receive a discounted lift ticket for Sunday. ‘Tis the season for giving and helping those less fortunate. In doing so, you receive a snowtastic gift yourself, especially with….THE OPENING OF THE SILVER QUEEN LIFT! With a total vertical drop of 2,072 feet, this lift offers skiers and snowboarders of all abilities a guaranteed day of fun on the mountain.

Also, for those of you celebrating Hannukah starting this Sunday, you can join B’nai Butte for the lighting of the menorah at Brick Oven Pizzeria on Elk. The menorah will be lit each of the 8 nights at 5:45 p.m.

Get out there this weekend and learn new things, give back and, as always, ENJOY THE RIDE!
