Weekend Fun in the Butte!

Lots of great events are happening in Crested Butte this weekend. Saturday, the Beacon Brush Up will be held all day at the Crested Butte Community School. Learn FREE backcountry rescue and survival skills, followed by beer and gear at the Alpineer. All skill levels are invited and encouraged to attend.

It’s that time of year, folks….the 5th annual “Santa Ski and Crawl”!

Help set the world record for the most skiing Santas. Participants must wear a full Santa suit to participate in the group ski at 3:30 p.m. from the Ice Bar to the Uley’s Cabin. Whether you ski, snowboard or snowblade, all Santas are welcome…call Black Tie to get your gear to join in this Crested Butte classic!

Close out your Saturday with Light Up Night on the Mountain. The annual tree lighting ceremony will take place on the mountain at 5 p.m. in the courtyard at the Lodge of Mountaineer Square.
