Trailing of the sheep coming to Sun Valley

If you didn’t already know, sheep played a large role in the history of the Wood River region. Back into the 1800’s Idaho’s residents relied on them as a means of livelihood. Now days, that’s no longer the case, but that doesn’t mean that they forgot their roots. Every year Ketchum holds a mutli day festival called ‘The Trailing on the sheep’ Named one of the best 200 festivals in the country, everyone should check it out at least once.
