The Avalanche Bar & Grill, Mt. Crested Butte
Spring Break is coming up and Crested Butte skiing is getting better and better, but what to do after all the blue ski powder skiing, goggle tan forming fun on the hill?
Well, check out the Avalanche Bar and Grill right in the Crested Butte resort base area. The Avalanche is a great Apres ski spot, with lots of TVs, and great daily specials on drinks and food. The Avalanche has great specialty cocktails for your Apres skiing pleasure, two of the more popular drinks are the Avalanche Warning and the Pain Killer- but beware, they pour the drinks strong at the Avy!
The Avalanche serves breakfast, lunch and dinner too. For breakfast they have everything from Burritos to Pancakes and plenty of coffee for those cold mornings. For lunch and dinner they serve burgers, pizza, salads and sandwiches. Once dinner starts (after 5 p.m.) they serve steaks, pasta dishes, and seafood too.
The Avalanche is a great place to grab a drink after your ski day and they are just a short walk from the bottom of the Silver Queen and Red Lady Express chairlifts. Even better, the Avalanche has teamed up with Black Tie Ski Rentals of Crested Butte to offer our guests a free beer when you present one of our VIP Guest Cards, which all of our guests receive at their fittings.
You may even seem some of the Black Tie guys in the Avy after enjoying a day off on the mountain.
