Sun Valley Nordic Festival

Although Sun Valley is known as one of the best alpine ski resorts in the country, it has deeply dug roots in the Nordic skiing genre. Every year they hold a week long festival with, you guessed it, nordic skiing competitions. The skiing is so good that members of the Norwegian Olympic Nordic team come here to practice.

If you can tear yourself away from the ski hill for a day during your vacation, go and visit some of the competitions.
