Park City Sales Mission To Our #1 International Market Now Underway

Unbeknownst to most Park City locals, Australia and New Zealand are our top international travel market. While we are basking in the Park City summer, enjoying our mountain biking and hiking, they are enjoying their ski season. Which makes sense when you think about ski vacation travel. When the group down under are missing their ski slopes, they come up to visit us.

A team of Park City representatives are currently in Australia and New Zealand on a sales mission to promote and sell our area to potential visitors from there. Australia has been, and remains, Park City’s number one international market. It is fall in the southern hemisphere, and skiers and snowboarders in New Zealand and Australia are gearing up for their winter season. This is also when they begin planning their USA winter holidays.

The Park City team will be traveling to Auckland (NZ), Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney, Australia for a mix of consumer ski shows, media and travel agent events, tour operator trainings, trade consumer shows and media visits. The team includes representatives from the Park City Chamber/Bureau, Deer Valley Resort, Park City Mountain Resort and Montage Deer Valley. We wish them much success in their travels!
