Final Countdown

Good morning all! It’s the final countdown to the end of the 2018-2019 winter season in Telluride with the mountain closing Sunday, April 7th. Telluride has experienced one of the biggest snowfall records in a decade, with a total snowfall accumulation of 368 inches with more snow forecast! A total of 145 of 148 trails are open with conditions being powder and packed powder. Black Tie has been busy this winter renting out our fleet of powder skis and the skiing has been EPIC!

There are multiple concerts going on in Telluride this weekend in celebration of closing day.  On Friday, April 5th KOTO radio presents Shakedown Street on Main Street where from 4:30-8:00 p.m. Telluride locals will be dancing to a favorite Grateful Dead cover band. Big Something will be playing at the Sheridan Opera House on Friday, April 5th and 6th.

April 7th, closing day, will feature the Pond Skim at Gorrono Ranch at 12 p.m. and Main Squeeze playing the Telluride Ski and Golf end of the season concert beginning at 3:15 p.m. outside of Tomboy Tavern. Its going to be a fun and festive last week!
