Fat Bike World Championships

Crested Butte has seen the most snow across the state Colorado so far this winter, which means it’s time for you to book your trip today! While you are here, below are this week’s exciting events to enjoy.

When you come to ski in Crested Butte this January, don’t forget your Fat Bike! It’s time for the third annual Fat Bike World Championships in Crested Butte featuring races, demos, and vendors. Come and enjoy some outdoor biking fun both in and around Crested Butte and on Crested Butte Mountain Resort January 25th through the 28th.

Ladies, enjoy some skiing tips from your fellow shredettes at the Umbrella Bar at the top of Painter Boy Lift on Crested Butte Mountain Resort January 23rd from 1:30 to 3:30. gO SkiMo will be hosting a race on January 24th at 5 pm at the base of Crested Butte Mountain Resort. The event includes a raffle, free food and drink, as well as a unique course every week. Bring a headlamp and some warm clothes. Please visit www.skicb.com for registration and more information.

It’s Movie Night at The Museum on January 26th at 7 pm presenting “Snowbeast”, a locally filmed movie following a young skier couple, when they are met with snow-man-beast. No spoilers here! You’ll have to see for yourself at this free event at The Museum with a cash bar and popcorn.

Crested Butte Center for the Arts presents Drunken Heart January 27th at 8 pm. The Drunken Hearts showcase both electric and acoustic sounds in their 5-man country rock/ bluegrass band. Please visit www.crestedbuttearts.org for ticket information.
