Day or Night, The Umbrella Bar is sure to Delight!

Many people can attest that ten peaks, atop the Painter Boy ski lift, is one of the best views on the Mt. Crested Butte. You can see down the Gothic Valley, East River Valley, and an incredible 360 degree view of the beautiful mountains surrounding Crested Butte.

Now you can really soak in the view at the brand new Umbrella Bar! Designed for the incredible 360 degree view, the circular bar has glass walls along with a 35 foot retractable roof for those 300 days of sunshine that Colorado boasts about. While 75 people can fit inside the umbrella, there is also a brand new 2,400 square foot deck where folks can enjoy their drinks in the sun, as well as some tasty food from the new food cabin.

Sunny days aren’t the only time to enjoy the Umbrella Bar, however. Crested Butte Mountain Resort is hosting 3 full-moon hikes so visitors can enjoy the moonlight magic of Ten Peaks as well. On January 23rd, February 22nd, and March 23rd, for $30, you can take a self-guided skin or snowshoe tour up to Ten Peaks, where you can warm up inside the Umbrella Bar while enjoying a buffet dinner (including fondue!) and a complimentary beverage.

Crested Butte Mountain Resort says “guests will want to expect the skin or snowshoe to take forty-five minutes to get to the top of Ten Peaks and come prepared for the elements with layers and a headlamp. Event tickets are for sale at the Adventure Center in advance for $30.”

Day or night, come check out the beautiful sunshine or moonlight magic atop Ten Peaks at the new Umbrella Bar!
