Crested Butte is Open!

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Black Tie!

Yesterday was opening day at Crested Butte Mountain Resort and the early season snowfall combined with Crested Butte’s increased popularity meant that Black Tie was busy delivering ski rentals to vacationers. The theme for opening day was pirates. CBMRrrrrr had pirate themes everywhere and there was even a treasure hunt on the mountain. The ski area had a bit more terrain open than usual this time of year by opening the Teocalli Lift. That spread out all of the skiers and snowboarders and increased the fun factor for all who took part. Of course, the mini terrain park was open on warming house hill.
