Best Restaurants For Your Park City Ski Vacation

Skiing is a workout. If you’re headed to Park City, you’re bound to feel the burn. Whether you’ve spent the day gliding through the trees or standing back up every thirty seconds, you need a place to sit back, relax, and recover some of those lost calories. Here are some of the best spots to continue the enjoyment once your time on the hill is over:

Sammy’s Bistro

Address: 1890 Bonanza Ave #100 Park City, UT 84060

Park City local Sam Harris opened Sammy’s Bistro to showcase his years of experience working as a cook under world-renowned chefs. After starting out with a setup in the local farmer’s market, he opened this permanent establishment just one mile from the base of Park City Mountain Resort in 2011 and has been wowing customers ever since. The menu boasts items such as Texas BBQ Shrimp and a Pulled Pork Sandwich, as well as a Grilled Wedge Salad and a Thailand-inspired Mahi Mahi Sandwich. Whatever you’re in the mood for, Sammy’s will take good care of you.

High West Distillery

Address: 703 Park Ave Park City, UT 84060

If you’re looking for a way to engage in Park City’s Old West history, look no further than High West. Opened in 2006, they’ve been distilling their own whiskey and spirits at the distillery in Wanship while operating a bar and restaurant on Park Avenue. Along with a wide variety of unique and local drinks, you can find a solid selection of hearty Western fare such as Elk Chili and a Bison Burger. They also offer tours of the distillery for you to learn all about the whiskey-making process, and the saloon is located just a block from Town Lift, making it a solid apres destination.

Address: 690 Park Ave Park City, UT 84060

A super laid-back spot on Park Ave, Davanza’s has the type of menu to keep everyone happy. Also located close to the Town Lift, it’s a great spot to sit back and enjoy a warm meal after a day of shredding. The walls are lined with old beer cans, and your group can enjoy thin-crust pizza, burgers, philly cheesesteaks, or even tacos.

Freshie’s Lobster Co.

Address: 1897 Prospector Ave Park City, UT 84060

Believe it or not, but the World’s Best Lobster Roll can be found in Park City, Utah. Founded by the Smahas from the Northeast, a lobster roll from Freshie’s is worth every penny. Their lobster is flown in daily from Maine, and they use as many local ingredients as possible. Open until 8pm, you can still catch a high-quality and beyond delicious lobster roll after a full day on the mountain.

Address: 151 Main St Park City, UT 84060

Open in the evening, Grappa provides a more intimate setting complete with a panoramic view of Park City’s Main Street and rustic, hearty Italian fare. A part of Bill White Enterprises, the building is over a century old with a wild history of its own. Be sure to call ahead to make space for your evening at Grappa.
