Adjusting to Telluride Altitude?

Telluride, CO sits at 8,750 feet above sea level (Mountain Village ranges form 9,400-10,000), and if you are skiing up top you can be as high as 12,570 feet.

Common symptoms of altitude sickness are headache’s, shortness of breath, dizziness, fatigue, difficulty sleeping and loss of appetite.

To help manage these symptoms make sure you stay hydrated, avoid alcohol and if at all possible try to adjust slowly by spending a night at lower elevation towns such as Denver or Montrose, CO.
