This is a excellent option to standing in lines at the ski resorts! Order online pick up the evening before (no additional cost). Staff are super knowledgeable and friendly. Will never rent at the resorts again!!

I will never use any other company!
This was our second experience with Black Tie Ski Rentals and I cannot say enough great things about the company. The website saved everyones info from our first use in Telluride 2 years prior so all I had to do was tweak the kids' ages and weights. SUPER EASY. We didn't have to waste a day in line at the mountain waiting on gear. The nicest guys brought it directly to our house at the time we picked. Took maybe 5 min total. Scott was awesome about letting my husband swap out skis to snowboard 1/2 way through the trip at the side slope valet. All our equipment was in wonderful shape and we actually paid less than our friends who used a different company. I will never use any other company!

Excellent experience!
Excellent experience renting snowboarding equipment! Knowledgeable staff were very helpful, and quality of the equipment was high.

Super easy!!
This is the only company I’ll be renting from for my trip to the slopes. They made our first time a breeze! Extremely easy reservation process and the staff were great. I thought I would be meeting them in the parking lot and the next thing I know they climbed all of those stairs with the gear and was knocking on the door! They got everything fitted and explained the gear and how to use it all. They offer slope side service in the event that you have an issue with your gear! The return process was super easy as well. Also, they gave some great recommendations on things to do in the area and places to eat. Thank you all for being so professional and courteous!

Fantastic service!

Best rental experience we’ve had!
Best rental experience we've had. Delivered the ski's right to our hotel door and made sure that the equipment fit properly. Signing the wavers was quick and contactless which made us feel more at ease knowing that this business is really taking precautions against covid. They would send us a link to the waver and then we sign it on our own phone. The return process was also very simple. We just had to drop off the ski's at our hotel lobby and call Black Tie Ski Rentals to come pick it up. This saved us so much time compared to the traditional rental services where you have to physically go to the store and wait in line for sizing and then go back to the store to return the equipment. Would highly recommend and definitely will be using Black Tie Ski Rental Delivery service again.

Easiest way to rent skis!
We were blown away by how easy Black Tie made renting skis. They arrived at our hotel with all the right equipment and even helped us navigate the mountain/village. Mid-week we swapped our skis for some snowy conditions at the main shop and they had us back on the mountain in 15 minutes. I would highly recommend black tie and avoid the unnecessary crowds of a traditional rental place. We will definitely be repeat customers!

Great customer service!
We used Black Tie in Sun Valley over Christmas for our group of 6 adults. The online reservation process was easy and Kyle personally returned my phone call to answer my questions. Coming from Florida, I was sold the minute I heard about the heated boots Our equipment was delivered to our condo precisely as planned. They even made a quick return to their shop when my husband decided he wanted to upgrade to heated boots also. A member of our party needed to change out skis for a different skill level, and Kyle even met us at the lodge mid-day to make the swap. Now that's great customer service! The luxury of having the equipment delivered, custom fit, and picked up was well worth the price and saved us a lot of time and stress. I would definately use Black Tie again.

Easy Peasy!
This was so nice to have our equipment delivered right to our hotel. The staff brought extra sizes so we were all fit perfectly. On the day of departure we simply left our equipment with our hotel. This was so much better then lugging all of own own equipment through the airports!

Outstanding service!
Wow! Black tie gave us excellent skis and snowboards and their service was outstanding. We had different lengths of rental of equipment and Black tie picked up whenever we needed. We highly recommend Black Tie ski rental and plan to rent with them next time we return to Big Sky.

The Best!
Black Tie's service could not have made the rental experience any easier. They showed up at our house promptly at the arranged time with skis, boots, and poles that had been carefully selected for each of us. The process of fitting and then leaving us ready to hit the mountain took minutes. I will never rent skis in any other way again.

Excellent service – easy to work with!
You can't beat a company that arrives at your hotel, fits the whole family and returns to pick up the equipment when all your skiing is done. The techs were knowledgeable, friendly and answered any questions we had about the area. The techs even returned later in the morning at the mountain when one of my daughters had an issue with her binding. Problem solved within fifteen minutes.

Back in 2002, at a local ski shop in Steamboat Springs, CO., Joe Sternberg and I watched as families waited in long lines after long travel days to rent skis… and we knew there had to be a better way. We started Black Tie out of our one car garage with a few hundred pair of skis and a vision to deliver a more convenient way for people to rent skis. Today, we have 18 locally owned and operated Black Tie branches servicing more than 46 world-class mountains.
