Events are abundant in Summit County. Never a dull moment. But…. If you’re not paying attention the greatest adventures can pass you by.

The Breckenridge Town Party.
Something the locals look forward to each year. Everyone is officially out of hibernation and ready to put the summer shorts on. Tourist and local alike hang out on the Riverwalk Center lawn enjoying great food and beverages. Happening June 19th, 2015 starting around 4:30 pm. Welcome the summer season in Breckenridge with the best kick off party in town.
The Frisco BBQ Challenge.
Thousands of people come from all over the country to experience this BBQ. Growing larger every year, the challenge has met and exceeded expectations each year. Plenty of activities for the children and food and beverages for the adult. BBQ tasting officially starting Friday, June 19th, 2015 from 11 am to 9 pm and Saturday the 20th from 10 am to 6 pm. Don’t miss this scrumptious weekend that everyone will be talking about.
Breckenridge’s 4th of July Parade.
As if Breckenridge is not proud enough of their mountain town, this day celebrates our USA pride. Floats start rolling down town around 10 am. Everything from kid bicycle races, floats from crazy local businesses and candy for miles. Get to Breckenridge Main street early to get a good spot to watch the parade. Enjoy multiple activities and shop store sales around town all weekend.

Happening every Saturday evening at 7 pm, catch an array of musical talent for FREE at the amphitheater in Dillon, Colorado. First concert is July 4th and every Saturday evening through the first week in September. Lay a blanket down on the lawn and get comfortable, relaxing in the mountain scenery overlooking lake Dillon.
USA Pro Cycling Challenge.
Racers will be buzzing by on Breckenridge Main Street this August 20th and 21st, 2015. Experience America’s most difficult cycling race. Even if you are not a devoted cyclist, watching these athletes fly by is a rush. Peddling over mountain passes that we get tired just driving over is something that deserves a hand. Cheer on the racers as they finish one stage and start another in Breckenridge.
